About RagTag

Located on the Isle of Skye in Northwest Scotland, RagTag is a social enterprise with a mission. Our part-time team is committed to promoting mental and social well-being in a welcoming environment.

We also care about the environment. Through our charity shop, we sell up-cycled crafts made from donated materials, helping to reduce waste going into landfill.

When you support RagTag, you’re supporting well-being in our community and making a positive impact on our planet. Join us in making a difference today!

At RagTag, we focus on encouraging personal and social growth for vulnerable individuals. We offer support and training through small workshops in Broadford, led by experienced and encouraging tutors. We have a lovely garden where we hold outdoor activities or simply relax with a cuppa.

We creatively up-cycle donated textiles and materials, giving them new life in unique ways. Our open workshops are designed for community well-being and skills development in various interesting activities. Visit our ‘Activities‘ page or follow our Facebook page for updates on upcoming sessions.

Additionally, we host a weekly drop-in event called “Snug” – a relaxed gathering with coffee, cake, and conversation. “Snug” is open to everyone and aims to enhance mental and social well-being.

Our Funders

We’re grateful for the support of our dedicated funders who share our vision for promoting mental and social well-being in our community.

Their generosity and commitment enable us to offer support, training, and creative up-cycling opportunities to vulnerable individuals on the Isle of Skye.

Alongside our regular funders we are grateful for the special project funds that enable us to run our open activities such as the Monday workshops and Thursday Snug.

And for support in kind such as The Sonas Collection for inviting us to take a stall at their Craft Fairs at the Skeabost Hotel.

We are pleased to work with other local organisations who share our values – including the Autism Initiative, Flourish, Kyleakin Connections, Mikey’s Line and SLVCO

Together, we're making a positive impact on our community and the environment.

Our Team

Our dedicated team is the heart of our organization. Led by our Board of Volunteer Directors, who generously give their time and expertise, we also have several committed employees who work to promote mental and social well-being in our community. Together, we collaborate to offer support, training, and creative up-cycling opportunities, making a positive impact on the Isle of Skye and beyond.
